Welcome to Sooke Squares!
Looking for new dancers! It’s not too late!
If you missed last week, it’s still not too late to start.
We are inviting new people to join us and learn Square Dancing. As before, no experience is needed, no partner is needed. (“Come alone, come with a partner, or come as a group!”)
Starting 6h January we are keeping the same times and locations as before, so 1:30 to 3:30 (doors open at 1:15) upstairs at the Sooke branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, 6726 Eustace Rd, opposite the Community Hall.
The first session (6th January) was free. After that it’s $5 per session plus a yearly charge of $15 for BCSRDF/CSRDS dues (to provide liability insurance) per person.
For more information email info@SookeSquares.ca or phone Richard at 250-884-8382.
For new dancers we will roughly follow SSD with the aim of moving to Mainstream.
For experienced dancers we dance the Classic Mainstream programme, not CALLERLAB’s new cut down Mainstream.
